Frazee Feet Dance
is a project-based contemporary dance company based in Rochester, NY. Founded in 2018 by Artistic Director, Zachary J. Frazee, the primary mission of the Company is to create and present original contemporary dance works that celebrate the diversity of human movement and connection throughout the Greater Rochester area and beyond.
The recent recipient of the Western New York Choreographers Initiative, the Company has toured across the country and performed in venues such as The Grace Street Theatre, Dogtown Dance Theatre, Hubbard Street Dance, The Lyric Theatre, among others. Within the short amount of time that Frazee Feet Dance has been operating, the company has premiered 3 evening length works, produced our first dance film, and premiered several smaller works while also hosting various in-person and online events, classes, and workshops.
The Company is still in its beginning stages, having been around for just over 2 years, but within that time we believe we have already started to impact the Rochester arts community. It is our goal to continue creating work that not only showcases the wide range of our facility and artistry, but also to continue to provide local artists and audiences with opportunities to CREATE, PERFORM, and EXPERIENCE.
